I bought this to carry when I take walks on paths in the wooded area near my home. Sometimes people let their dogs off leash, and sometimes there are people setting up small camps for the night. I wanted something that I could carry in my hand that would be easy to hold on to and not scream that I am carrying a self-defense item. I like knowing that I have something in hand that will allow me to stop threatening contact if necessary, but not make anyone feel like I am challenging them.

What more could you ask for? I didn't realize they made Tasers this small! Fits in any pocket, is super simple to use, and is more convenient than all those larger units - I don't think you could get any smaller than this and still be effective.
